we have some easy rules to follow so please take the time to at least skim through them. the excuse 'i did not know' will not suffice since all the rules are right here.

GENERAL

here we ask that you respect everyone. this includes members and guests alike! oh and especially the staff since we work hard on this. if you show any disrespect toward someone's race, beliefs, or anything of that nature you will be punished! do not go around hurting people's feelings because it won't be tolerated on this site.

ACTIVITY

this is very important. don't join this site and then never come back! it's really lame when someone joins and then never even makes a post. i realize that everyone has work, school, and other things to attend but please get on a few times every week! simply logging in isn't really being active either is it? log on and post around! ooc or role playing, it doesn't matter. just show that you still want to be around. if you don't have muse try to write through it. especially if it lasts ages. just try for us, okay? if you need to be gone a while that is no problem! you just really need to let an admin know so we don't delete you! if you are gone for a month or longer your account will be deleted unless you have told a staff member that you will not be available at that time.

REGISTERING

first off, if you're joining we already love you. once you make an account please change your display name to your character's full name! be sure that it is also in all caps! it just looks nicer when everyone matches, don't you think? and we'll love you if you do it because then the staff doesn't have to go around doing it. if you do not make and complete a character profile within three days then it will be denied.

ROLE PLAYING

we accept anyone who can write up to at least three hundred words! use that creativity of yours and make at least a decent sized three paragraphs! and if someone gives you like a long post at least try to give them the same back. i'm not saying to write pages but just do your best! none of that chat speak in the role playing boards either unless it's in a text or something, then it's fine. spell check is your friend! use it! on this site we are also going to be using third person point of view. you should know what that is. oh and coding in posts makes it pretty and fun! i'm not saying you have to put a bunch of stuff in it. at least blockquote it or something. thanks!

GRAPHICS

please have both a signature and an icon for your profile. need help with that? then don't be afraid to ask for some help! someone will be glad to help. please no signatures bigger than 430 pixels in length. if you want text up there then that's okay but just don't make it so big it takes up the freaking screen! icons can not be any wider than 150 and no taller than 200! and no anime face claims! only real life people that are celebrities, models, musicians, you know. please don't use like.. yourself either.

this site is rated pg13! if you are doing anything that involves being really graphic then you need to 'fade to black.' keep things nice for proboards. if you're confused about this then read the terms of service, yeah?
